Who We Are
Our disposable stethoscope cover is designed to prevent any, infections, diseases, fluids, or organisms, from a patient’s skin, or clothing, to pass through to the stethoscope. It also prevents infections, diseases, fluids, or organisms from a contaminated stethoscope to pass through to a patient’s skin, or clothing, thereby preventing the spread of infections, or diseases, via a stethoscope. Our stethoscope cover acts as a shield that lies between the body of the patient and the diaphragm or bell of a stethoscope making it virtually impossible for any diseases, infections, fluids, or organisms to pass through it.
Why Our Product is Needed
The diaphragm, and/or bell, of a stethoscope is designed, from a safety precaution, to be washed after each use on a patient. However, recent studies have shown that doctors, and nurses, rarely, if ever, wash the diaphragm or bell of their stethoscope. Our disposable stethoscope cover is designed for a single use and is designed to be discarded after each use. Our product is designed to compensate for the stethoscope diaphragm and bell not being washed according to universal safety precaution guidelines.
